We had the best 3 day 2 night tour on Bai Tu Long Bay. There was a large group of us and they made us all feel so at home. We loved Tom and the whole crew! The food was amazing and the Bay was sublime! Highly recommended

LOVED the dragon pearl cruise! I think 3 days and two nights is the perfect amount of time in Bai Tu Long Bay. Halong Bay is very crowded with many boats, but Bai Tu Long Bay is relaxing and quiet yet still incredibly stunning the whole ride. We loved our tour. The boat was beautiful with lovely, comfortable lawn chairs on the top deck. The boat has brand new rain showers with great water pressure and temperature. The food was plentiful (maybe a bit too much at times!) and so so delicious. We went kayaking, had a 6 or 8 course meal on the beach, visited a fishing village, explored a cave where locals used to live, and more. Everything was perfect. Our tour guide, was very helpful and caring of our needs. He spoke English perfectly and did a great job making us comfortable on the boat.

We took the three days and two night trip with our 8 year old daughter. We had a really great time. Amazing staff, very safe, great food, good commentary and activities. Even though there were other junks around, somehow our junk was always able to be separated, so we never felt that claustrophobic feeling others mentioned with other junks. The nights were very quiet, the drinks reasonable priced, the crew very friendly. I really recommend that you consider this trip, it was great. Our daughter, even though she was the only child in the junk, had a good time.

Just finished a 3 day-2 night excursion with family. We love to travel and are so glad this was part of our Vietnam visit. Tom our guide was excellent. He was informative, professional and personable all rolled into one. The crew could not have been more willing to please, always greeting with a smile and attending to every need. The chef gave us all an interactive cooking demonstration the first night and we ate like kings at every meal. The accommodations are rustic but sufficient (sorry no wifi or electronics) to allow you to take in this natural wonder. Your senses will be overwhelmed with calm by the sights, sounds and smells of this majestic setting. Kayak the waterways, hike the caves and sunbathe on a private beach. Be paddled by locals into a private cove where generations of fisherman work and live. Take a moment to just be grateful for being able to step into this beautiful setting. Shop for pearl jewelry from the oyster farms. Sit on deck, relax and unwind with unbelievable sunrise and sunsets. The multi night trips allow you to go to less crowded areas, avoiding the day trippers. The whole experience was amazing! Enjoy

We had one night on the Dragon Pearl #3 in Halong Bay as part of my extended family’s tour of Vietnam (17 of us - 8 adults and 9 Kids aged 7 months to 11 years). The boat is great, but having a toddler on board was a bit stressful as it would be on any boat! The food was fantastic. The crew were nice but quite reserved. We anchored in an area for kayaking and exploring an amazing limestone cave. We also went on the basket boats to see the phenomenal fishing villages. Definitely a worthwhile trip! I would recommend taking your own bottled water - they supply a small amount for each room but the other water is just filtered. Fine to drink but I prefer bottled water! Also no wifi (in case you were wondering!!).
