This places has strips and patches of great farms growing herbs, tubers, vegetables and fruits. You can see typical vietnamese farming being done mostly without machines done the traditional way. A cooking class is arranged for those interested , an interesting meal can be prepared during the class and eaten too. You get to pick your choice of vegetables which you can you can use for the cooking class.

Lovely and relaxing to arrive here after cycling in the rain on a fairly busy road from the fishing village. Good to learn about the gardens and all the local vegetables and herbs - and have ago at farming (for 10 minutes!). This was followed by a cooking session at a nearby house which was unexpectedly entertaining with flames, singing songs and flipping pancakes onto plates on our heads! Oh, and the food was delicious!

This Organic Garden village, one of the delights of my trip to Vietnam. You actually have the opportunity to participate in planting, collecting, cooking, then eating the produce. Such fun, delicious, and a free foot massage thrown in to boot. Awesome experience!

Excellent experience with farm to table! The level of detail is incredible. I mean, seriously, incredible! Not to mention the care that every person gave to each guest. If you want to be pampered and feel like royalty for the day while actually learning... this is the place! Our guide explained the ways of the organic farming with many different kinds of herbs, lettuces, and onions. He is quite charming! Even letting us plant and water in their customary style which has been done for many generations. Such hard work! But the benefits are bountiful! I say this as we were able to taste the deliciously fresh produce for lunch. I can’t put into words the flavor of the greens... fresh at its best! The father taught us how to make Vietnamese pancakes and meticulously prepared other local foods while sharing funny stories in their lush garden. If that’s not enough we were treated to a soothing foot massage with herbal waters and sisters that had hands like angels. There is a sense of quiet even as the people move about to attend to the many chores at the farm but what truly resonates is the peaceful joy. It lingers in the air and if you’re still easily invades your soul. If you’re in Hoi An then this spot, Tra Que cannot be missed!

Absolutely loved it!!! I arrived here included in a group trip just stopping for lunch, though it was probably the best spot to check out in Hoi An. The incredible vegetable fields, probably the friendliest staff imaginable, and the very best vegetarian meal in Vietnam! Staff, food, or the ambiance launched a most unforgettable lunch, and also I'll certainly go to once again when I go back to Hoi An. Aside from food that is delicious, you are able to shoot food preparation programs, tour the fields, or perhaps spend days/weeks as being a volunteer helping grow tasty organically grown produce. In case you are in Hoi An, you shouldn't miss a chance this way.
